Since 2020, Carpenteria Colombo has been monitoring its environmental impact in accordance with the GHG PROTOCOL standards.
Since then, measures have been implemented to reduce CO2 emissions:
- Installation of a new 160 KW solar panel system.
- Introduction of a new technologically advanced transport truck.
- Purchase of a 100% electric crane.
- Purchase of a 100% electric forklift.
The company, confident it is on the right path, has set an initial goal of reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG PROTOCOL emissions by 5% by 2030, thus supporting the European Union directive, despite increased turnover and production capacity due to the new warehouse.
